ugh, macos preview overfilters images in PDFs and it's making the output of my gan thing look like garbage :( (macos preview on left, pdf.js in firefox on right)

normally I wouldn't worry about this stuff but I'm concerned that someone will download the PDF and look at it in Preview and think that the GAN is blurry instead of Preview being blurry (and I know if I distribute it as PDF, people will definitely look at the PDF first, but if I distribute it as a zip file of PNGs no one will look at it)

@aparrish Interesting, I didn’t know it did that. But it renders the jpeg okay? Have you checked how it behaves with postscript?
