i wish that jrpgs—in addition to a combat difficulty setting—had a setting for the amount and frequency of dungeon puzzles/gimmicks. (i would 100% of the time set this to "dungeons are corridors with random encounters and save points," i do not get joy in dungeons from finding keys or flipping switches or stealth puzzles or npcs with dialog trees)

@aparrish I think this could be expanded to games in general. It's an incredible idea. I've heard of games that let you adjust how different parts of the game work to refine your experience, but this goes a step further and I like it
