ah, the web site is down. nevertheless,
i watched "the pact". yeah it was ok.
i watched "don't knock twice". it was a 2 out of 5.
if i was in the horror film "don't knock twice", i would simply knock once only.
i watched "preservation". eh
watching an american film set in ireland
it's called "don't leave home" (i know, i know)
i think for americans these films are about how scary the rest of the world is and how americans should never go there. for the rest of us these films are about the fantasy of getting to wicker-man some americans.
"don't leave home" was dreadful.
i'm watching "satan's slaves". it's really good so far, a legitimately spooky Indonesian film set in the 80s.
"Satan's Slaves" was very good! kind of a better-than-average supernatural haunting James Wan -ish horror film (way less schlocky than the title suggests), but made in Indonesia, from a Muslim angle, with the occasional use of 80s Indonesian pop music as a hook – so i was really into it.
