The forest is beneath the city, you see, living and breathing. Every root that cracks a sidewalk is a reminder that we persist by a force of will that will someday break. When that day comes the forest will be there waiting.

@garbados i just moved my starts back outside, and i found a whole root system and fungus that lived and died among them, unbeknownst to me, and nature does that shit /all the time/
