Mario coming out of his pipe to shame mankind

Y'all I was not expecting to enjoy this Rocko's Modern Life revival too much (even as a kid I sometimes found the original show not exactly for me), but it was genuinely touching and smart! Anyone else try it out?

I am watching John Wick Chapter 2

The thing that's really jumping out at me about Veronica Mars this re-watch is how it makes room for the complex stories of the parents in its otherwise-teen-focused universe.

My sister trying to sell me on the children's play place we are visiting this weekend with my nephews: "part of it is a replica of an old Baltimore port. And you love places that are replicas of things." She's exactly right about that!

Next items on the agenda:
1. Work from coffee shops while NOT on vacation, to improve mental hygiene and productivity.
2. Take an actual, real, two-week vacation.

I'm on vacation for a long weekend to see my nephews, but it is downright perverse how much WORK I have accomplished at this coffee shop while waiting for my sister to get home from her office.

Is there a replacement for Mastodon Bridge yet, or is it now just totally impossible to find Twitter friends on Mastodon because of Twitter's shitty API changes?

Sometimes I forget how formative the movie "Shattered Glass" was for me, until the phrase "Jukt Micronics" pops into my head for no reason.

Honestly embarrassed that I hadn't listened to Lizzo's "Juice" until today.

For those unfamiliar, let me explain the sad prevalence of IE11:

1. FooCorp has 10 websites that their employees need to use, one of which was built in 2005 and only supports IE11

2. IT is a cost center for FooCorp

3. IE11 supports all 10 websites. Yay IE!

4. Employees are blocked by Windows Group Policy from using any other browser

5. Switching browsers means reprinting hundreds of training documents and retraining their employees ($$$)

6. IE11 lives for years and years.
