I've been sending out https://bookwyrm.social invites to those who requested them.
If anyone has joined recently and has feedback on the onboarding process, I'd been interested to hear it ❤️ #BookWyrm
@bbbhltz I'm glad to hear it! And yeah, it's been a continual struggle with the UI to make the ins and outs of federation clear to users who have varying levels of familiarity with how it all works...
@tripofmice and I would like to add that even though my good reads import initially failed, the retry button worked like a charm. I hadn't realised that the import had failed until 5 weeks after signing up but 143 missing books is a few too many to ignore. Thanks for all the work you're putting into this!
@bbbhltz thank you!! import has definitely gotten a lot better over the last few months 😅
Ooh i would love to join!
@Alonealastalovedalongthe put your email in the request invite form on bookwyrm.social and I'll send an invite next time I'm at my computer :)
@tripofmice re: on boarding
Not at all problematic IMO. It did take me a moment to figure out that I could follow myself on fedi.
